Katherine O’Hara took to London on Sunday 17th to compete in the London Duathlon.
Katherine said “it was more of a time trial than a race and it awas just as much a mental as a physical challenge”. She was extremely happy to have run a sub 20 for the 5km coming off the bike and we’re happy to announce that she won her age group. She even had time to do a bit of Deer spotting on the way around.
Katherine has come back strongly from what was a disappointing first quarter of the year due to the break in her foot that she picked up at the end of the 2016/17 cross country season. She has stuck to a strict recovery plan which has now paid off especially with representing GB at this year’s European Duathlon and also winning her age group there as well.
A big congratulations to Katherine from everyone at Arena 80..
