Hove Prom 10k 2022

Thank you so much to all our lovely runners, volunteers, and to our mighty race directors Brigitte Groves and Michele Archer for making the Hove Prom 10k 2022 such a success.

The results are now online:

Despite the blustery conditions, 100% of Arena volunteers turned out, which is pretty incredible given how tempting it must have been to stay under the duvet! Because of the wind, Nice Work were unable to erect the gantry fearing it may end up in France and the clock had become confused due to the hour change, but thankfully Mark and Rob weren’t at all phased and calmly got on with the management of the timing.

We have had some excellent feedback from runners after the event, including this one on social media:

‘Really enjoyed it despite the weather! Lovely marshals and I loved that there was so little waste (no medals and help yourself to post race goodies instead of bags containing things that might get thrown away)’

We hope to see you all again next year!

James Baker (middle) put in a stunning effort – finishing first with 33:21. James Skinner (right) came second with 33:39 and Jon Clays (left) finished 3rd in 33:47.
Bobby Searle was first female with a chip time of 37:50.
Sue Fry (left) and Kirsty Mcdermott (right) took second and third female in 39:57 and 40:44.
