Free track for Dec, Jan and Feb

Track training on Mondays is free for the whole of December, January and February! If you have never tried running at the track this is a great opportunity to see how you get on. Come along and join us (you still need to sign up). This can be done thanks to the excellent work done by those organizing the Hove Prom 10k and the marathon marshalling which has significantly boosted income this year.

Parking is free at the stadium.

Every Monday, we have the track available from 6:15pm to 7:45. The coached session starts at 6:45pm sharp.

The Session
Sessions vary every week, but before we start our coaches will split runners into ability groups, explain how the session will be structured and what we are trying to achieve.

  • 10 minute warm-up, with drills for mobilisation and flexibility
  • 20 minutes of rep or interval sessions at paces which can vary from 1500m to 5k pace.
  • 5 minute warm down.

Our coaches will work with you during these sessions to help you improve your speed, stamina, endurance and running technique.
