Horspath SEAA cross country masters & inter county championships.

Well done to the 7 ladies who travelled to Horspath, Oxford to represent Arena and compete in the SEAA cross country masters and inter county championships. The course was hillier and tougher than last year but the rain stayed away for the masters race….sadly it didn’t for Lucy May Richardson who was picked to run for Sussex in the U20 team. Congratulations to Lucy who was 3rd scorer in the Sussex team. Well done to Julie Briggs, Dani Tarleton and Tara Shanahan who won the WV 40-49 category. Julie had a brilliant race and was 2nd overall and only 2 seconds behind the winner. Caroline Wood also had a great run to finish off a fantastic year and placed 1st in the V55 category and along with her teammates, Jackie Rymell and Jenny Hughes placed 4th. Great running in a strong field.
