2021 & 2022 A80 LONDON MARATHON AFFILIATED CLUB ALLOCATION
(closing date for entry into draw is May 14th – emailed to Caroline Wood as below)
Arena 80 have been offered one place in 2021 & 20022 both to be drawn at same time.
A80 Club Criteria for Entry into The Draw
Only A80 1st claim club members who have been fully paid up for 1 year are entered into the first round of the draw. Those joining A80 this year can be in the draw for 2022. With the following proviso’s:
a) Anybody who ran last time under the club allocation can’t be put in the first round of the draw.
b) Must be affiliated to England Athletics as Arena80 at time of draw
**Reserves drawn but only used if those successful pull out before sending off their acceptance form which must be sent speedily. ***
2nd Round.
Only takes place if insufficient uptake by club members in first
round.
a) Must be 1st claim club members, no qualifying period required.
b) Anybody gaining a place in the draw last year can take part.
c) Must be affiliated to England Athletics as Arena80 at time of draw
3rd Round
a) Open to all 1st claim club members.
b) Must be affiliated to England Athletics as Arena80 at time of draw
The draw for the 2 places will take place on May 15th
The person who wins the place for 2021 can’t be in the 1st round of the draw for 2022.
The lucky winners for 2021 & 2022 need to contact Caroline Wood to secure their place within 5 days of the result of the draw otherwise it will be passed to 1st reserves.
2019 Ed Landeur & Neil Fulkes had the places, so can’t be in 2021 LM place draw.
