ALICE BURTON-BRADFORD

Dear members.

It is with great sadness that I have to share the untimely passing last month of the lovely kind spirited Alice.

Alice was an active member of the club, embracing cross country, parkrun and many of the WSFRL races with enthusiasm and always cheerful smile.  Most of us finish a race with a grimace full of relief that the agony is over, Alice used to almost skip over the line with great joy! Maybe we should all be a little more Alice!

Her good friend Aaron is fund raising to buy a bench in her memory and the Committee will be in communication with him to support this. Alice loved walking her dog on the beach and running over the cliff tops so this is thought to be a perfect site for the bench, somewhere her friends can go to remember her.

Our deepest sympathies go to Alice’s family in Cornwall at this extremely difficult time.
